he says JOY is the core state he wants in life
a conscious intention since he was 19, with
JOY being the conviction that all will be well.
To me JOY is a state of ecstasy. Contentment is
the core I struggle for, and
JOY the reward.
This quest for someone, who’s demons play well with mine,
who can look at life with JOY,
but be unafraid to show grief.
And all the damn emotions that make life livable.
I hope he texts me if the rapture is on.
